Orlando theme park tickets: where to buy and how families save
Where to buy Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, LEGOLAND and Kennedy Space Center tickets, which ticket types and passes pay off, family-of-four budgets and the scams to avoid.

The cheapest way for most families to buy Orlando theme park tickets in late 2026 is a multi-day, date-based ticket bought online from the park or an authorized reseller, on value-season dates, with only the add-ons you will use. For Disney that means a 4 to 7 day base ticket (reported from about $90 to $103 a day, against $119 to $229 for a single day). For Universal it means the 3-Day One-Day-Per-Park promo, from $99 a day including Epic Universe. SeaWorld’s online price starts at $59.99, against a $151.99 reference price on its own offers page. Never buy at a roadside booth, and never buy a “used” ticket.
This guide is about how to pay less. Our Orlando theme parks compared guide helps you choose which parks to visit. The date picker below is for the From Orlando: Kennedy Space Center Trip with Transport, rated 4.8/5 from 899 reviews on GetYourGuide, from $89. Kennedy Space Center is the one big Orlando-area attraction GetYourGuide covers, as a day trip with transport, and plain admission is on Viator; Disney, Universal and SeaWorld tickets are not on GetYourGuide. Prices are per person, before tax, unless noted, and theme park prices change often, so confirm at checkout.

Orlando theme park tickets at a glance
- The biggest savings levers: your dates (a Disney 1-day ticket is reported at $119 to $229), how many days you buy (the per-day price drops sharply from day 4), and buying online (SeaWorld’s $59.99 online price against its $151.99 reference price). Park Hopper, Lightning Lane Premier Pass and Go City pay off only for some families.
- Good buys in late October 2026: Universal’s 3-Day One-Day-Per-Park promo from $99 a day, or the 2-Day Park-to-Park plus 1-Day Epic promo from $119 a day, both valid into spring 2027. SeaWorld’s 2027 Fun Card at $144.99, which includes the rest of 2026. LEGOLAND kids’ tickets from $39, an offer that ends November 1, 2026. Disney 2027 dates already on sale kept their prices through the October 6, 2026 increase, so lock them in now.
- Avoid: partly used or “transferred” Disney tickets (they are linked to the first user’s fingerprint and can’t be transferred), timeshare “free ticket” booths, and Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp sellers. Buy from Disney, Universal, SeaWorld or Merlin directly, or from an authorized reseller such as Undercover Tourist, CityPASS or Get Away Today.
| If you want… | Buy this | Typical starting price (October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| One Disney day | 1-Day, 1-Park date-based ticket on a low-price date | $119 (Animal Kingdom, value dates; reported) |
| A Disney week | 5 to 7 day base ticket | About $90 to $103 a day (reported) |
| Universal including Epic Universe | 3-Day One-Day-Per-Park promo | From $99 a day |
| Harry Potter in both parks plus Epic | 2-Day Park-to-Park + 1-Day Epic promo | From $119 a day ($357) |
| SeaWorld | Online single-day ticket or 2027 Fun Card | $59.99 / $144.99 |
| LEGOLAND with little kids | Kids-from-$39 offer (ends November 1, 2026) | $39 kids / $79 adults |
| Kennedy Space Center | Official site or GetYourGuide | $77 adult / $67 child (official) |
Our pick for a first-time family: a 5-day Disney base ticket plus Universal’s 3-Day One-Day-Per-Park promo. That covers all seven major theme parks in eight days for roughly $3,250 for four people on value dates, tax included. Skip the Disney Park Hopper on trips of five days or more, and skip Lightning Lane Premier Pass unless you are visiting on a holiday-peak day.
The cheapest legitimate way to buy each park
As of late October 2026:
| Park | Cheapest legitimate way to buy | Price to beat | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Walt Disney World | Authorized reseller (Undercover Tourist, CityPASS) or Disney direct; multi-day | 3-day from $365 at CityPASS vs $380.88 at the gate (reported) | Gate adds a premium; Florida resident deals need proof at the gate |
| Universal Orlando | Universal direct, or Get Away Today and Undercover Tourist promos | 3-Day One-Day-Per-Park from $99 a day | Promo blockouts: December 24 to January 3, February 11 to 19, March 26 to 30 |
| Epic Universe only | 1-Day Epic ticket direct | Reported from $139 | Not included on 1 and 2 day standard tickets |
| SeaWorld Orlando | SeaWorld.com limited-time offer | $59.99 (reference price $151.99) | Online only; US, Puerto Rico and Canada residents |
| Aquatica / Busch Gardens | Multi-park ticket or Fun Card | SeaWorld + Aquatica Fun Card $184.99 | Fun Card blockout dates |
| LEGOLAND Florida | LEGOLAND.com kids offer | $39 kids / $79 adults | Offer ends November 1, 2026; gate from $129 |
| Peppa Pig Theme Park | Direct, or a combo with LEGOLAND | $32 online | Combos usually beat separate tickets |
| Kennedy Space Center | Official site or the KSC ticket on Viator | $77 / $67 official; from $82 on Viator | Parking $15 per car |
| Smaller attractions | Go City Explorer Pass or Essentials Pass | From $64 / $139 on GetYourGuide | Big parks are often cheaper online direct |
How Orlando ticket pricing works
Every major Orlando resort now uses date-based pricing: the price depends on the date you pick and is locked when you buy.
Three rules follow from this:
- Price increases usually hit dates you haven’t bought yet. According to WDW Prep School, tickets for dates already on sale before Disney’s October 6, 2026 increase “kept their prices,” which “covers all of 2026 and January through October 2027.” Only the newly released November and December 2027 dates and some peak tiers went up.
- Holidays and school breaks are the expensive part of the calendar. Weekdays in quiet months are the cheap part.
- Multi-day tickets get much cheaper per day, but only from about day 4. The first few days carry most of the cost.
Walt Disney World ticket prices (2026–2027)
A Walt Disney World 1-day, 1-park ticket is reported at $119 to $229 per adult before tax, depending on the date and park. The $229 record applies to Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve 2027 (ClickOrlando/WKMG, October 6, 2026), and WDW Prep School reports that EPCOT reaches $229 only on December 31, 2027. Disney’s own ticket pages redirected us to its UK site, so the figures in this section are as reported by local news and ticket trackers in October 2026.
Disney 1-day prices by park (adults 10+, before tax)
| Park | Lowest | Highest (2027 peak) | Previous peak |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magic Kingdom | About $139 to $149 (estimate)* | $229 | $219 |
| EPCOT | About $129 to $139 (estimate)* | $229 | $214 |
| Hollywood Studios | About $129 to $139 (estimate)* | $214 | $209 |
| Animal Kingdom | $119 | $189 | $184 |
Disney publishes its lowest prices by date, not by park. The resort-wide floor is $119 (Animal Kingdom, on dates such as August 2027). The per-park floors above are estimates, so check Disney’s calendar.
- Kids 3 to 9: priced slightly below adults. The peak child 1-day price is now $209.
- Under 3: free.
- 1-day Park Hopper: can reach $301 on the most expensive 2027 date. Outlets disagree on whether that figure includes tax, so treat it as approximate.
Disney multi-day prices (adults, value-date starting prices)
| Ticket length | Starting total | Starting per day | CityPASS “from” (adult / child 3 to 9) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 day | $119 | $119 | n/a |
| 2 days | $260 | $130 | n/a |
| 3 days | $381 | $127 | $365 / $352 |
| 4 days | $496 | $124 | $474 / $457 |
| 5 days | $515 | $103 | $490 / $473 |
| 6 days | $540 | $90 | $512 / $494 |
| 7 days | n/a | About $77 to $95 | $541 / $522 |
| 10 days | n/a | About $60 | $603 / $583 |
What this means for your trip: going from 4 to 5 days costs only about $16 to $19 more at the lowest prices, and going from 5 to 7 days adds about $50. Once you are at Disney for four days or more, extra days cost very little, so buy the longer ticket and use the spare day for the pool or a rest day.
Disney add-ons: what they cost and whether to buy
| Add-on | Cost (reported) | Our verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Park Hopper | Flat, about $65 to $115 per ticket (any length) | Skip on 5+ day trips with kids under 8. Useful on 2 to 3 day trips for EPCOT evenings. |
| Park Hopper Plus | About $20 to $30 more than Park Hopper | Buy only if you’ll do 2+ water park days |
| Water Park and Sports option | About $70 to $80 per ticket (2027) | Good value if the water parks are open and you’ll go twice |
| Lightning Lane Multi Pass | About $15 to $45 a day (Magic Kingdom hit $35 in October 2026) | Buy for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios days if the budget allows |
| Lightning Lane Single Pass | About $10 to $25+ per ride; ceilings rise $1 to $3 from November 1, 2026 | Buy only for one or two headliners |
| Lightning Lane Premier Pass | Up to $499 per person (Magic Kingdom peak) | Skip. A family of four could pay nearly $2,000 for one day. |
Lightning Lane timing:
- Disney Resort hotel guests can book Multi Pass 7 days before check-in for their whole stay.
- Off-site guests can book 3 days before each park day.
- Multi Pass prices did not change in the October 2026 increase (“There is no price change to Lightning Lane Multi Pass,” ClickOrlando, October 6, 2026), though Premier Pass rose from $449 to $499 and the Incredi-Pass annual pass from $1,629 to $1,749. Multi Pass prices still move with the date and crowd levels.
Disney annual passes (from October 6, 2026)
| Pass | New | Renewal | Who can buy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Incredi-Pass | $1,749 | $1,499 | Everyone (no blockouts) |
| Sorcerer Pass | $1,139 | $969 | Florida residents and DVC members |
| Pirate Pass | $909 | $789 | Florida residents |
| Pixie Dust Pass | $499 | $419 | Florida residents (weekday-style blockouts) |
Verdict: out-of-state families need roughly 8 to 9 park days in 12 months before the $1,749 Incredi-Pass beats regular tickets. For most visitors it’s a skip, unless you’re doing two week-long trips within a year.
Disney special offers (late 2026 and 2027)
- Room-and-ticket packages: save up to $250 per night on select 4-night, 4-day (or longer) packages for stays from January 3 to July 28, 2027. This applies to packages, not to tickets alone.
- Room-only discount: up to 25% off select rooms from January 3 to April 29, 2027. You can combine it with a separate ticket deal.
- Disney Visa cardmembers: up to 30% off select rooms, January 3 to April 29, 2027.
- 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket: sold in summer 2026 from $109 a day (US). It is offered on Disney’s European and UK sites for arrivals from January 3 to May 22, 2027. A US 2027 version had not been announced in late October.
- Florida residents: the 2026 Discover Disney Ticket was $64 a day (4 days, $255) for January 12 to May 16, 2026, and the summer version was $65 a day. Disney usually announces the winter and spring resident deal in early January, and the 2027 version hasn’t been announced. Adults must show proof of Florida residency at the gate.
- Military: 2026 Armed Forces Salute tickets at Shades of Green were $405 (4-day Park Hopper) and $425 (5-day Park Hopper), tax-free, and expire December 18, 2026. Shades of Green’s ticket page says: “Information regarding Promotional tickets for 2027 will likely be available sometime in November. We will not have any information on pricing or blocked out dates until the tickets are released.”
Disney ticket rules to know before you buy
- Multi-day tickets must be used within a set window from the start date. For example, a 4-day ticket must be used within 7 days.
- Tickets can’t be transferred once used. A finger scan links the ticket to the first person who uses it.
- An unused ticket’s value can usually be applied toward a new ticket.
- Parking is not included: about $35 a day for standard theme park parking (unchanged in October 2026). Disney Resort hotel guests park free at the theme parks.
- Where to buy: Disney’s site or an authorized reseller. GetYourGuide does not sell Walt Disney World theme park tickets. Viator lists Disney base tickets, but they were rated 2.6/5 from 179 reviews when we checked in October 2026, so we don’t recommend them.
Universal Orlando ticket prices (2026–2027)
A 1-day Universal Orlando ticket starts at $124 for Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure. A 1-day Park-to-Park ticket is reported at about $174 to $179, and Epic Universe from about $139. The savings are in the 3-day promos that went on sale September 3, 2026: $297 in total ($99 a day plus tax, about $105.43 a day including tax per PAX News) with one Epic Universe day, used within seven days.
Universal 1-day prices (adults, before tax)
| Ticket | From | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1-Park 1-Day (Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure) | $124 | Base; no Hogwarts Express |
| 2-Park 1-Day Park-to-Park | About $174 to $179 (reported) | Needed for the Hogwarts Express |
| Epic Universe 1-Day | About $139 (reported) | Peak days reported around $199 to $210 |
| Volcano Bay 1-Day | About $80 (reported) | Closed October 26, 2026 until on or before April 1, 2027 |
Kids 3 to 9 usually pay about $5 less than adults. Under 3 is free.
Universal multi-day prices and current promos
| Ticket | From (per day) | Includes Epic? | Key rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-Day One-Day-Per-Park promo | $99 ($297) | Yes, 1 day | One day at each park; 7-day use window; blockouts December 24 to January 3, February 11 to 19, March 26 to 30; no Hogwarts Express |
| 2-Day Park-to-Park + 1-Day Epic promo | $119 ($357) | Yes, 1 day | Valid through April 24, 2027; same blockouts; saves up to $65 per ticket |
| 3-Day Base (standard) | About $118 | Yes, any day | One park per day |
| 3-Day Park-to-Park (standard) | About $138 | Yes, every day | Includes the Hogwarts Express |
| 4-Day Park-to-Park | About $113 | Yes, every day | 4+ day tickets are Park-to-Park only |
| 5-Day Park-to-Park | About $93 to $105 | Yes, every day | Best regular per-day value |
| Florida resident 3-Day One-Day-Per-Park | $85 | Yes, 1 day | Must be used by December 23, 2026 |
| Florida resident 2-Day Park-to-Park + 1-Day Epic | $95 | Yes, 1 day | Must be used by December 23, 2026 |
| Florida resident 2-Park Unlimited | $199 total | No | Through December 16, 2026; Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure only |
Our pick on Viator: the Universal Orlando Park-to-Park PROMO Tickets - USA / Canada Residents listing sells the 2-Day Park-to-Park plus 1-Day Epic promo, from $374 including fees and rated 4.2/5 from 237 reviews. Compare that total with Universal’s own checkout before you buy.
The Epic Universe rule: 1-day and 2-day standard tickets cover only Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, so Epic needs its own ticket or a promo that names it. Tickets of three days or longer include Epic, and 3+ day Park-to-Park tickets let you return to Epic on several days.
Conflicting reports: Disney Tourist Blog reported that the “Buy 3 Days, Get 2 Days Free” deal expired on September 3, 2026, replaced by the promos above, while at least one other planning site still lists it through December 16, 2026. Check Universal’s offers page before counting on it.
Universal Express: when to pay for it
| Option | From (reported) | Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Express (once per ride), 2-park | About $119.99 to $124.99 a day | Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure |
| Express Unlimited | About $129.99 and up (to about $379.99 at peak) | Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure only |
| Epic Universe Express | About $190 to $360 (from $199.99 on Universal’s store in September) | Epic only |
| Express Now (in-app, per ride) | About $20 to $30 per ride | Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic |
| Free Express Unlimited | $0 with your room | Guests at Portofino Bay, Hard Rock Hotel and Royal Pacific; not valid at Epic Universe |
Verdict: if you would buy Express for two or more people on two or more days, price a night at Royal Pacific first (see Universal and Disney hotels compared for families). One room for four often costs less than four Express passes, and the free Express also works on your check-out day. For Epic Universe, use Early Park Admission (for Universal hotel guests) plus a single-ride Express Now on the one ride you most want, instead of a $200-plus Epic Express.
Universal annual passes and packages
- Annual passes start around $425, and the Florida residents’ 2-Park Seasonal pass from $325.
- Universal annual passes don’t include Epic Universe, which needs a separate ticket at a passholder rate.
- Vacation packages bundle Premier hotel stays (with free Express) and tickets. Florida residents can also get up to 25% off select hotels alongside the resident ticket deals.
SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove
SeaWorld Orlando is the best-value major park in Orlando right now. A single-day ticket is $59.99 online, against a $151.99 reference price on SeaWorld’s offers page, and the 2027 Fun Card ($144.99) includes the rest of 2026.
| Product | Price (October 2026) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| SeaWorld 1-day (online) | $59.99 (ages 3+) | Reference price $151.99; online only |
| 1-day + All-Day Dining | $99.99 | Adds a meal every 90 minutes; All-Day Dining alone is $40 |
| CityPASS SeaWorld ticket | $79 | CityPASS shows a $146.99 gate price |
| Florida 2-Park ticket (CityPASS) | $99 | CityPASS shows a $222 gate price |
| 2027 Fun Card (SeaWorld) | $144.99 | Unlimited visits through December 31, 2027 plus the rest of 2026; blockouts; no parking |
| 2027 Fun Card (SeaWorld + Aquatica) | $184.99 | Same blockout rules |
| Discovery Cove Day Resort | From $195 (Dolphin Swim from $225) | All-inclusive day; packages add SeaWorld or Aquatica access |
| Quick Queue Unlimited Plus | Reported from about $49.99 | Excludes Penguin Trek and Expedition Odyssey on the Ultimate Bundle |
Fun Card price: SeaWorld’s launch release said “Starting at just $139.99,” and FOX 35 Orlando reported the same price, but SeaWorld’s limited-time offers page showed $144.99 in late October 2026, so expect $144.99.
Fun Card rules: blockouts include select 2027 dates such as March 13, 20 and 27 and April 3, and many summer Fridays and Saturdays. Separately ticketed events (Howl-O-Scream) are excluded.
Parents of little ones: look for SeaWorld’s free Preschool Card for young children. Eligibility and residency rules apply, so check before you buy.
Where to buy: neither GetYourGuide nor Viator listed a SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica or Discovery Cove ticket when we checked in October 2026, so buy on seaworld.com, aquatica.com and discoverycove.com.
Verdict: if you’ll visit SeaWorld twice, the Fun Card beats two single-day tickets at most prices. If you live locally, it’s the best entertainment deal in town. For Aquatica’s winter hours and ticket options, see our best water parks in Orlando guide.
LEGOLAND Florida, Peppa Pig and Merlin attractions
LEGOLAND Florida is cheapest right now, at $39 for kids and $79 for adults online for a 1-Day Theme Park + SEA LIFE ticket. The offer ends November 1, 2026; after that the gate price starts at $129.
- Kids offer details: for kids 2 to 12. The Theme Park + SEA LIFE + Water Park version is $64 for kids and $104 for adults, though the water park closes for the season after November 1.
- On GetYourGuide: the LEGOLAND Florida Resort + SEA LIFE Florida 1-Day Admission costs from $74 for everyone 2 and over and is rated 4.3/5 from 92 reviews, with free cancellation. After the kids’ offer ends, it can beat the gate price.
- Hotel and ticket package: from $162 per person per night (based on a family of four), with kids’ tickets from $39 a day. Book by November 1, 2026 for stays through January 9, 2027.
- Annual passes: $179, $249 and $299 tiers, or from $15 a month after a $101 first payment. The current “buy 2027, get the rest of 2026 free” deal applies.
- Military: free admission from October 1 to November 30, 2026 (LEGOLAND and SEA LIFE). Check eligibility.
- CityPASS combos: 1-Day LEGOLAND + SEA LIFE from $64, or $87 with the water park.
- Peppa Pig Theme Park: $32 online on the official site. The 1-Day with Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida on GetYourGuide is $34 and rated 4.2/5 from 28 reviews. Combos with LEGOLAND usually beat separate tickets.
- Merlin “Ultimate” multi-attraction ticket: reported at $114 for seven attractions. A change to $99 has been rumored but is unconfirmed.
- SEA LIFE Orlando and Madame Tussauds: the Orlando: Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE Aquarium Combo Ticket costs from $42 and is rated 4.6/5 from 425 reviews.
Our LEGOLAND Florida, Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida and SEA LIFE Orlando guides cover each park’s tickets in more depth.
Kennedy Space Center tickets
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex costs $77 per adult (12+) and $67 per child (3 to 11) for one day on the official site. A 2-day ticket is $91 per adult and $81 per child, and parking is $15 per car.
- Military: reported at $72 and $62 direct, or $59.50 and $51.75 through Shades of Green.
- On Viator and GetYourGuide: the Kennedy Space Center Cape Canaveral Admission on Viator starts at $82 (4.6/5 from 378 reviews), and on GetYourGuide the From Orlando: Kennedy Space Center Trip with Transport is $89 (4.8/5 from 899 reviews), with an Explore bus tour option on its small-group tour. The transport option suits families without a car.
Our Kennedy Space Center tickets guide compares every ticket and tour in detail.
Add-ons and skip-the-line: what’s worth the money
Families over-buy line-skipping more than any other Orlando upgrade. Buy it for your two busiest park days, not every day.
| Upgrade | Price range | Value for families | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney Lightning Lane Multi Pass | About $15 to $45 a day | High at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios | Buy for 1 to 2 key days |
| Disney Lightning Lane Single Pass | About $10 to $25+ per ride | Medium | Buy for one headliner if needed |
| Disney Lightning Lane Premier Pass | Up to $499 a day | Low | Skip |
| Disney Park Hopper | About $65 to $115 flat | Low on 5+ day trips | Skip with young kids |
| Universal Express (2-park) | About $120 to $380 a day | High on peak days | Buy only if you’re not staying at a Premier hotel |
| Free Express with a Premier hotel | Included | Very high | The best Universal saving |
| Universal Express Now | About $20 to $30 per ride | Medium | Use for 1 to 2 rides |
| SeaWorld All-Day Dining | $40 | High (a meal every 90 minutes) | Buy for full days |
| SeaWorld Quick Queue | Reported from about $49.99 | Medium | Busy weekends only |
| LEGOLAND Fastrack | Reported at about $26 to $111 | Low on weekdays | Skip midweek |
Our Orlando theme parks compared guide has a park-by-park skip-the-line comparison.
Multi-attraction passes: Go City vs CityPASS vs combos
Go City saves money only if your list is heavy on mid-priced attractions such as WonderWorks, Madame Tussauds, airboats, Fun Spot and Gatorland. For the big parks, direct online prices are usually cheaper.
What’s on sale (October 2026)
| Pass | Adult / child (3 to 12) | What you get | Validity | Our pick on GetYourGuide |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Go City Explorer | 3 attractions $89 / $69 on gocity.com; 2 attractions from $64 on GetYourGuide | Pick 2 to 5 of 19 attractions (no SeaWorld, LEGOLAND or KSC) | One year from purchase, 30 days from first use | Go City Explorer Pass, from $64, 4.5/5 from 111 reviews |
| Go City Essentials | $139 / $119 | 3 attractions from a list of 22, including one of SeaWorld, LEGOLAND or KSC | One year from purchase, 30 days from first use | Orlando Essentials Pass, from $139, 5.0/5 from 4 reviews (a new listing with few reviews) |
| Go City All-Inclusive | 2 days $239 / $219; longer passes cost more | Unlimited entry to 33 attractions on pass days | Days used within 2 weeks of first use | All-Inclusive Pass with Kennedy Space Center, from $239, 4.4/5 from 63 reviews |
| Orlando CityPASS | No longer a fixed booklet; it’s an authorized discount ticket store | Discounted Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, LEGOLAND and KSC tickets | Per ticket | Not on GetYourGuide |
| Orlando FlexTicket | n/a | Discontinued (no current listing found) | n/a | n/a |
A worked break-even example (one adult)
Scenario: Kennedy Space Center, WonderWorks and Gatorland.
- Buying separately: KSC $77 plus the Orlando: WonderWorks All-Access Entry Ticket ($40 on GetYourGuide) plus the Orlando: Gatorland Skip-the-Line Ticket ($37 on GetYourGuide) comes to about $154.
- Go City Essentials: $139.
- Savings: about $15 (roughly 10%), which pays off if you will use all three within 30 days.
Now swap KSC for SeaWorld. SeaWorld is $59.99 online, so separate tickets cost about $137 and Essentials loses by about $2.
All-Inclusive (2 days, $239): you’d need roughly $240 or more of gate-priced admissions in two days. That’s realistic only if you pair KSC with three or four smaller attractions. It isn’t realistic with LEGOLAND, which is 45 to 60 minutes from Orlando and takes a full day.
Verdict:
- Buy Go City Explorer or Essentials for a rest-day mix of smaller attractions.
- Skip All-Inclusive unless you’re a high-energy, early-start family.
- Never buy a pass just for SeaWorld or LEGOLAND while their online sales are running.
Where to buy: official sites, resellers, GetYourGuide and warehouse clubs
Buy from the park itself or an authorized reseller. The best authorized resellers beat the official price by about $15 to $100 per ticket and can add better refund terms.
| Where | Typical savings | Pros | Cons | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Official sites (Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, LEGOLAND, KSC) | Baseline; SeaWorld and LEGOLAND online deals are the best anywhere | Direct support; Florida resident deals | Disney and Universal rarely discount tickets alone | SeaWorld, LEGOLAND, Florida resident deals |
| Undercover Tourist | Up to about $90 (Disney) and $98 (Universal) vs the gate | Authorized; “365-day returns where applicable”; occasional extra-day Disney deals | Promo stock varies | Disney and Universal multi-day |
| Get Away Today | Small extra discounts on Universal promos | Authorized; payment plans | Prices vary | Universal promos |
| CityPASS (Orlando store) | Disney 3-day $365 vs $380.88 gate; SeaWorld $79 vs $146.99 gate | Authorized; clear gate comparisons | Not cheaper than SeaWorld’s own $59.99 | Disney multi-day, LEGOLAND combos |

Our take: GetYourGuide is the easiest one-stop shop for Kennedy Space Center, Go City, LEGOLAND and the smaller attractions. For SeaWorld, Disney and Universal theme park days, buy from the park or an authorized reseller, and compare the total including tax before you pay.
Scam warning: how families lose money on “cheap” Orlando tickets
If a stranger offers Disney tickets at half price, it’s a scam. Disney tickets are tied to the first user’s fingerprint and can’t be transferred.
The common traps:
- “Partly used” multi-day tickets. “Three days left on a 5-day pass!” These fail at the turnstile because the biometric scan won’t match, and you can’t tell by looking whether any days remain.
- Cast Member comp tickets. They’re marked not for resale, can be printed and copied, and are routinely voided. The Orlando Sentinel reported in July 2017 that two Orange County firefighters sold five complimentary Disney passes, given to Pulse first responders, through the OfferUp app for about $390. The buyer was refused entry.
- Florida resident tickets sold to non-residents. Adults must show Florida ID at the gate.
- Timeshare “free” or “90% off” tickets. These are legal, but you pay with a 2 to 4 hour high-pressure sales presentation.
- Roadside “discount ticket” booths on US-192 and I-Drive. Some sell used or fraudulent passes.
- Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, eBay and OfferUp. You have no recourse if the ticket fails.
- Lookalike websites. Check that a reseller appears on Disney’s or Universal’s authorized-seller list before paying.
Rule of thumb: a genuine Disney discount is about $15 to $100 per multi-day ticket, not 50%.
Family-of-four ticket budgets (2 adults and 2 kids aged 3 to 9)
These are value-date floor prices, so they’re the least you’ll pay. Totals include 6.5% Orange County sales tax (Disney, Universal and SeaWorld are in Orange County). Parking is not included. For school-holiday dates, add roughly 30 to 50% (our estimate).
3-day trips
| Plan | Tickets | Pre-tax | Est. incl. tax |
|---|---|---|---|

| Disney + Universal | 2-day Disney (about $260 each) + 1-day Universal base ($124 each) | About $1,536 | About $1,636 |
| Budget mix | SeaWorld ($59.99) + LEGOLAND/SEA LIFE ($79 / $39) + KSC ($77 / $67) | About $764 | About $815 |
5-day trips

7-day trips
| Plan | Tickets | Pre-tax | Est. incl. tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney only | 7-day base ×4 ($541 / $522) | $2,126 | About $2,264 |
| Universal only | Not recommended; 5-day Park-to-Park + 2 non-park days | About $1,860 | About $1,981 |
| Disney + Universal (our pick) | 4-day Disney ($474 / $457) + 3-day Universal promo | $3,050 | About $3,248 |
| Budget mix | 4-day Disney + 4 SeaWorld 2027 Fun Cards + LEGOLAND | About $2,678 | About $2,852 |
How to read these:
- At Disney, a 7-day ticket costs the family only about $740 more than a 3-day ticket, so add days before you add parks.
- Our Disney + Universal 7-day pick covers all seven major theme parks (four Disney parks plus Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic) for under $3,300 on value dates.
- Add parking: about $35 a day at Disney and Universal (Universal not rechecked for 2027) and $15 at KSC.
- LEGOLAND figures use the $39 / $79 offer that ends November 1, 2026. At gate prices, the budget mix rises by $200 or more.
Sales tax by county
| County | Parks | Sales tax |
|---|---|---|
| Orange | Disney (mostly), Universal, SeaWorld, Aquatica | 6.5% |
| Osceola | Kissimmee area (part of the Animal Kingdom area; many hotels) | 7.5% |
| Polk | LEGOLAND, Peppa Pig (Winter Haven) | About 7% (not checked this round) |
| Brevard | Kennedy Space Center | Not checked |
Hotels add a further 6% Tourist Development Tax in Orange and Osceola, so lodging is taxed at 12.5% in Orange County. For ideas that cost less than a park day, see our things to do in Orlando with kids guide.

When to buy:
- Disney raises prices each October (October 6 in 2026). Buy before the next October if your dates are already on sale.
- Universal released its 2026 ticket lineup on October 23, 2025. We expect a similar 2027 release soon, but Universal hasn’t announced one.
- Black Friday has historically brought LEGOLAND, Merlin and SeaWorld sales. Past LEGOLAND Black Friday deals reached 50 to 60% off. That’s a pattern, not a promise.
12 money-saving tips, ranked by dollars saved
- Move your dates. Shifting from Christmas week to early December or late January can save $100 or more per person per day at Disney.
- Buy longer, not more. A fifth to seventh Disney day costs about $10 to $25 at the lowest prices.
- Never buy SeaWorld or LEGOLAND at the gate. SeaWorld’s $59.99 online price is $92 below its $151.99 reference price, and LEGOLAND’s offer saves $50 per adult and $90 per child against the $129 gate price.
- Stay at a Universal Premier hotel instead of buying Express. Free Express Unlimited at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure can be worth $500 to $1,500 for a family over two days.
- Use Universal’s 3-day promos. At $99 a day with Epic, Disney Tourist Blog estimates savings of about $41 a day ($123 per ticket) against regular 3-day, 3-park tickets.
- Skip Park Hopper on 5+ day Disney trips. That saves $65 to $115 per person.
- Book Disney packages only when the discount is real. Up to $250 a night off 4-night packages (January 3 to July 28, 2027) can beat booking room and tickets separately at Deluxe resorts.
- Use authorized resellers for Disney. Undercover Tourist or CityPASS save about $15 to $90 per multi-day ticket.
- Florida residents: wait for January’s Discover Disney deal (2026’s was $64 a day), use Universal’s resident promos by December 23, and consider SeaWorld’s Fun Card.
- Military families: check Shades of Green or your base ITT office. The 2026 4-day Park Hopper was $405 tax-free, and the 2027 release is expected in November.
- Buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass only for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. That saves $60 to $180 per family against buying it every day.
- Plan around parking. Disney Resort guests park free. Otherwise budget about $35 a day, or use hotel shuttles and rideshare on one-park days.
Bonus: buy a SeaWorld 2027 Fun Card now if you’ll visit twice; you get the rest of 2026 included.
Bottom line
Pick value dates, buy longer Disney tickets, use Universal’s 3-day promos, and buy SeaWorld and LEGOLAND online during their current sales. Buy from official or authorized sellers, and use GetYourGuide for Kennedy Space Center, Go City and the smaller attractions. That way a family of four can see all seven major Orlando theme parks for about $3,250 in tickets. Frequently asked questions
How much is a 1-day Disney World ticket?
A 1-day, 1-park Disney World ticket is reported at $119 to $229 per adult before tax, or about $127 to $244 with Orange County’s 6.5% sales tax. The cheapest days are at Animal Kingdom in quiet months. The $229 record applies to Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve 2027 and, per WDW Prep School, to EPCOT only on December 31, 2027.
What’s the cheapest way to buy Disney tickets?
Buy a multi-day base ticket (5 days or more) on value dates from an authorized reseller such as Undercover Tourist or CityPASS. For example, a 5-day ticket is from $490 per adult at CityPASS, about $98 a day.
Can you buy discount Disney tickets legitimately?
Yes, but the discounts are modest: typically $15 to $100 per multi-day ticket through authorized resellers, plus bigger savings for Florida residents and the military. Anything near half price is a scam.
Is the Disney Park Hopper worth it?
Usually not for families on trips of 5 days or more. It’s a flat fee of about $65 to $115 per ticket, and it earns its cost on short trips when you want EPCOT evenings after a day elsewhere.
How many days of Disney tickets should I buy?
For first-timers with kids, 4 to 5 days covers all four parks with one repeat Magic Kingdom day. Past four days, each extra day costs very little, so round up.
Does the Universal ticket include Epic Universe?
Only some tickets do. 1-day and 2-day standard tickets don’t. Tickets of 3 days or more include Epic, and the current promos include one Epic day.
Are Universal tickets cheaper online?
Yes. Universal doesn’t post gate prices, but guests report gate premiums of roughly $15 to $30. Same-day Epic tickets can sell out, and Florida resident promos are online only.
Is Go City Orlando worth it?
It is if your list is mostly mid-priced attractions such as WonderWorks, Gatorland, airboats and Kennedy Space Center. In our example, the $139 Essentials pass saved about 10%. It isn’t worth it for SeaWorld or LEGOLAND while their online sales run.
What is the best Orlando theme park pass?
For most visiting families, a 5 to 7 day Disney base ticket plus Universal’s 3-day promo. For locals, the $144.99 SeaWorld Fun Card. The $1,749 Disney Incredi-Pass pays off only after roughly 8 to 9 park days.
Which Orlando theme park is cheapest?
SeaWorld Orlando, at $59.99 online. Among the big resorts, Disney’s reported floor price ($119) is slightly below Universal’s ($124). LEGOLAND is cheapest for kids at $39 through November 1, 2026.
Is it cheaper to buy at the gate?
No. SeaWorld’s $59.99 online price is far below its $151.99 reference price, LEGOLAND’s gate starts at $129 against $79 online for adults, and Disney multi-day tickets carry a gate surcharge.
Are there kids-free deals?
Under-3s are free at Disney and Universal. LEGOLAND’s kids’ tickets start at $39 until November 1, 2026, and SeaWorld offers a free Preschool Card (eligibility rules apply). Florida resident kids 5 and under can get free Kennedy Space Center admission with a Junior Space Explorer pass. Disney has run 50%-off kids offers in past years, but none has been announced for 2027.
Do tickets include parking?
No. Budget about $35 a day for Disney and Universal standard parking (free for Disney Resort hotel guests) and $15 at Kennedy Space Center. SeaWorld’s Fun Card doesn’t include parking.
Do Orlando theme park tickets expire?
Yes. Disney multi-day tickets must be used within a window from the start date, though unused value can usually be applied to a new ticket. Universal promos have fixed windows, such as 7 days from first use. Go City passes are valid one year from purchase and 30 days from first use. SeaWorld 2027 Fun Cards expire December 31, 2027.
Are there Florida resident deals?
Yes. Universal has an $85-a-day 3-day promo, a $95-a-day Park-to-Park plus Epic promo and a $199 2-Park Unlimited ticket, all ending in December 2026. Disney has resident-only Pirate, Pixie Dust and Sorcerer passes, and the Discover Disney ticket ($64 a day in 2026) usually returns in January. SeaWorld’s Fun Cards suit locals too.
Can UK visitors save with special tickets?
Yes. Disney’s UK-only 14-Day Magic Ticket (the former “Ultimate” ticket) includes park hopping, water parks and Memory Maker. It costs from £535.56 per adult for value-season 2027 arrivals and must be used within 18 days. Universal’s UK 14-day All Parks Ticket runs about £468 to £522 per adult.
