Book online: adult tickets start at $29 and child tickets at $24, against $41 and $36 at the door. The best value for most families is the official two-attraction ticket at $39 per adult, which adds Madame Tussauds and, on the current deal, a ride on The Orlando Eye. To book through GetYourGuide with free cancellation instead, the date picker for the SEA LIFE ticket is just below.

SEA LIFE Orlando at a glance

It suits families with kids of about 2 to 10, rainy or very hot afternoons, and anyone who can pair it with another ICON Park attraction. Teens and serious aquarium fans get less from it as a trip on its own.

  • Price: from $29 per adult and $24 per child online ($41 and $36 at the gate); under 2 free
  • Time needed: one to two hours, according to SEA LIFE’s help center; with toddlers, about 90 minutes is common
  • Best value: the $39 two-attraction ticket (SEA LIFE plus Madame Tussauds), which currently includes The Orlando Eye
  • Skip it if you are already doing SeaWorld, or you want a half day at a big-tank aquarium (drive to Tampa instead)

On GetYourGuide, the SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium in ICON Park ticket starts at $31 with tax included and is rated 4.4/5 from 495 reviews.

SEA LIFE Orlando works with the Florida Reef Tract Rescue Project, which you see on the behind-the-scenes tour, and with the SEA LIFE Trust. Chely is a rescued turtle who lives here permanently.

Seasonal events are included with admission. Pirates of the Haunted Seas runs on select dates from September 19 to November 1, 2026, with treasure hunts, pirate meet-and-greets and talks. The Elf on the Shelf is listed as the holiday event, and some ticket sellers have mentioned an Animal Crossing event, so check what is on for your dates.

These are among the cheapest behind-the-scenes extras in Orlando, and they stretch a short visit. All are sold by SEA LIFE directly, on the day or online.

On GetYourGuide, the Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE Aquarium Combo Ticket starts at $42 with tax included and is rated 4.6/5 from 425 reviews. The Ultimate Florida Ticket is sold as an option on the SEA LIFE Orlando ticket listing rather than as a listing of its own.

All SEA LIFE tickets are for a set date and time. If you arrive more than 30 minutes after your slot, entry is not guaranteed. Third-party tickets without a time slot use the “I have tickets” line.

You can buy at the door at $41 and $36, but you pay $12 more per person and risk sold-out slots on busy days.

Where to buy: the official site, GetYourGuide or a reseller

The base prices match from seller to seller. Merlin’s official prices exclude tax, and resellers quote prices with tax included, so choose on flexibility.

On a LEGOLAND trip, the $114 Merlin ticket pays for itself once you add the ICON Park attractions. Hours and the best time to go

SEA LIFE Orlando usually opens at 10 or 11 a.m. and closes between 6 and 8 p.m., with last entry an hour before closing. Official pages currently show both schedules, so check the opening-hours page for your date.

  • Quietest: right at opening on weekdays, or after 4 p.m. when day-trippers leave.
  • Busiest: during summer afternoon thunderstorms (roughly 2 to 5 p.m.), when crowds head indoors, plus spring break, holiday weeks and Saturdays.
  • Timing tip: book a slot 15 to 30 minutes before a scheduled dive show or feeding.
  • Weather: it is fully indoors and air-conditioned, one of the most dependable rainy-day options on International Drive. Our indoor family activities page compares it with WonderWorks, the Museum of Illusions and iFLY. When the sky clears, ICON Park’s fountains and garage floors 4–7 cost nothing, and our list of free things to do in Orlando has more.

Getting there and parking

ICON Park is free to enter, and floors 4 to 7 of its seven-story garage are free. Premium parking is on floors 2 and 3 and valet on floor 1; those rates are not published.

Pairing SEA LIFE with the rest of ICON Park

ICON Park is a 20-acre complex with no gate and more than 50 shops, restaurants and attractions, so SEA LIFE is easy to stretch into an evening out.

  • The Orlando Eye: a 400-foot observation wheel with 30 air-conditioned capsules. Each rotation takes about 20 minutes, and pods are currently limited to 10 guests. Go at sunset. The Orlando Eye ticket with optional attractions starts at $31 and is rated 4.4/5 from 344 reviews. The wheel closed for maintenance earlier in 2026. Its own site showed it open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 28, 2026, but the SEA LIFE ticket page still carried a closure notice, so confirm before you buy.
  • Madame Tussauds Orlando: next door and part of the two-attraction ticket. The Madame Tussauds at ICON Park ticket on its own starts at $31 (4.4/5 from 182 reviews).
  • Ripley’s Crazy Golf: opened March 13, 2026. Glow-in-the-dark indoor mini golf from $19.99, open until 11 p.m. (midnight on Friday and Saturday). Sold directly by Ripley’s.
  • Blue Man Group: opened May 1, 2026 in a new theater under The Orlando Eye. TouringPlans reported tickets from $60 to $122 per person plus tax on May 3, 2026, and FOX 35 gave a $59 starting price. Best for ages 6 and up who cope with loud music.
  • Build-A-Bear Workshop: a three-story flagship with a Design Studio and a Bakeshop where kids decorate cupcakes, announced for November 2026. Confirm it has opened before promising it.
  • Museum of Illusions: also at ICON Park. The Museum of Illusions Admission Ticket starts at $30 and is rated 4.5/5 from 232 reviews.
  • Food: Shake Shack, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, Yard House, Brother Jimmy’s BBQ and Sugar Factory (a treat, not a meal). There is no food inside SEA LIFE and no outside food is allowed.

A three-hour afternoon:

  1. 2:00 p.m.: park free on levels 4 to 7 and enter SEA LIFE, with a slot about 30 minutes before a feeding.
  2. 2:00 to 3:30: the aquarium, the tunnel, the touch pool and the play area.
  3. 3:30 to 4:30: Madame Tussauds on the two-attraction ticket.
  4. 4:30 to 5:00: a snack or ice cream on the Promenade.

A half day running into the evening:

  1. 4:00 p.m.: SEA LIFE, adding the $10 Behind the Scenes tour at 4:00 on Friday to Sunday.
  2. 5:30: Madame Tussauds.
  3. 6:30: dinner at ICON Park.
  4. Sunset: The Orlando Eye, if it is running.
  5. 8:00: Ripley’s Crazy Golf, or Blue Man Group for older kids.

For a LEGOLAND day from ICON Park, the LEGOLAND Express shuttle leaves at 8:30 a.m. on select dates for $8 per person; check the booking page for winter dates.

The LEGOLAND Florida Resort + SEA LIFE Florida 1-Day Admission on GetYourGuide is rated 4.3/5 from 92 reviews. Neither GetYourGuide nor Viator listed a SeaWorld Orlando or Discovery Cove ticket when we checked in October 2026, so buy those on seaworld.com and discoverycove.com; our Orlando theme park tickets guide compares where to buy each park. For Tampa, the Florida Aquarium general admission ticket on Viator starts at $40 and is rated 4.3/5 from 827 reviews. Our Orlando theme parks compared guide sets SeaWorld against the other big parks.

With under-7s and a short afternoon, go to SEA LIFE Orlando. If you are already doing LEGOLAND, SEA LIFE Florida comes with your ticket, so skip Orlando’s unless your kids love aquariums. For big shows and coasters, pick SeaWorld; for a once-in-a-lifetime splurge, Discovery Cove; for the best traditional aquarium within a drive, Tampa.

Insider tips

  1. Never pay the gate price. Booking online saves $12 per person, even on the morning of your visit.
  2. Pick a combo while The Orlando Eye is included. The $39 two-attraction ticket was the best ICON Park value we found.
  3. Check the feeding board first and plan your pace around one dive show.
  4. Leave the big stroller in the car; a carrier works better in the tunnel.
  5. Stand still in the tunnel for five minutes, and the sharks and rays circle back.
  6. The 12:30 Turtle Experience is the best $15 you can spend here.
  7. Military and first responders get in free through November 30, 2026, online through ID.me.
  8. Lockers are outside, in the main terminal building.
  9. Florida residents should bring ID and book the resident rate online.

Is SEA LIFE Orlando worth it?

At online or combo prices, yes, for families with kids under about 10, especially on a rainy or scorching afternoon. At the $41 walk-up price, a standalone visit with teens is poor value. Book the $39 two-attraction ticket, add the $15 Turtle Experience if your kids love animals, and finish with dinner and The Orlando Eye at sunset. If aquariums are your family’s thing, save the money for the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. Check your date in the SEA LIFE calendar at the top of this page, because prices and promotions at Merlin attractions change often.

For the rest of the trip, our things to do in Orlando with kids guide covers the airboats, Kennedy Space Center and the manatee trips, and our Kennedy Space Center ticket guide prices the space day.
