About This Experience

This is a one-day ticket to LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven, about 45 minutes from the Orlando theme parks, with SEA LIFE Florida included on the same grounds. Other versions add the LEGOLAND Water Park or Peppa Pig Theme Park for the same day, and a Merlin Florida Ticket option bundles seven Merlin attractions in Winter Haven and Orlando.

Inside, kids steer LEGO cars at the Ford Driving School (ages 6 to 13, with a junior course for 3 to 5), stroll among miniature cities in Miniland USA, and build and race a car at the LEGO Ferrari Build and Race. Galacticoaster, the indoor launch coaster in the LEGO Galaxy area, takes riders from 36 inches with a companion. SEA LIFE Florida, with its underwater tunnel and touch pools, fills 45 minutes to an hour and a half and makes a cool mid-afternoon break.

The downsides are real. Hours can be short (10 AM to 5 PM on some fall days), the park closes on some off-season weekdays, and summer lightning shuts water and outdoor rides. Legoland was absolutely amazing. Our grandkids loved it but we did not get to do the waterpark due to weather . They said Lighting was in the vicinity so they had to shut down all the water rides. But they did tell us we could bring back our tickets and get back in for another day. I hope that's true as my grandkids really wanted to do the water park.
